About PMG Services

My name is Peter MacGregor
I am a fully qualified plant and heavy vehicle engineer having completed a 5 year plant mechanics apprenticeship in 2001.
For the next two years I worked for Finning UK (CAT) as a repair and rebuild engineer for all types of tracked and wheeled construction and heavy earth moving plant equipment; whilst there I received certified CAT training.
I then worked in Germany for 2 years for the American Military as a supervisor for servicing trucks and tracked military vehicles.
On returning to the UK I was employed in a heavy goods transport workshop servicing, inspecting and maintaining a fleet of heavy goods commercial tractor units, trailers and the company's light transport and construction plant equipment. I also carried out all commercial vehicle electronic diagnostics.
My last employment was in Melbourne, Australia
working in a truck and bus workshop, mainly rebuilding M.A.N, Leyland and
Scania engine units. Also servicing and maintaining Melbourne's bus fleet.
This shows I have an excellent, varied and successful range of experience. I enjoy working in this trade and I believe I can offer a very good and competent service to people with the attitude of "there isn't anything that can’t be fixed".
